Privacy Policy

Mobile Notary Signings (MNS) is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and partners. This MNS Privacy Statement governs the data collection and usage within the MNS Web site. We are responsible for safeguarding your privacy only to the extent possible, according to our control over your confidential information. This statement contains information that is subject to change, and it will be continuously assessed and revised against new technologies and business practices according to our customers' needs. You consent to the practices outlined in this Privacy Statement by visiting this website. Please take a moment to review the sections below.


1) Collection of Your Information. The information collected falls into two categories: personal information you knowingly and willingly disclose when using your credit card or Pay Pal and website use information when browsing our website. All the info identifiable that you provide to our site captures the following:

  • Addresses
  • Phone numbers (home and business)
  • Email addresses
  • Credit card number 
  • Other personal information (i.e., mother's maiden name)

2) Why is This Information Collected? The data collection is relevant and appropriate to the activities or transactions when doing business with clients. Another purpose of data collection may be obtaining survey results or preparing statistics for our business development.


The MNS may collect information required by the state for Notary commissioning and auditing purposes, including but not limited to personal data such as driver's license or passport information collected from doing business with clients when keeping a journal. We may retain this information for the period designated by the commissioning state. We may share the collected Information for commissioning purposes with the commissioning state upon their request to confirm commissioning information and auditing. Although you may find links to many third-party sites on our Web sites, the MNS is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the MNS' website.


MNS uses browser-IP-address information and anonymous browser history to report information about site access and for profiling purposes. This information is  to improve Web presentation and utilization. And the IP address information will be for troubleshooting purposes.


3) By What Means Is This Information Collected?


  • Cookies - Cookies help you personalize your online experience. For each visitor to our website, our web server automatically recognizes and collects only your domain name, but not your email address, unless you volunteer it. A cookie is a text file placed on your hard disk by a Web server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie. The MNS uses standard cookie technology, which you can turn off through your web browser options, to store visitors' preferences, record clients' session information, such as items in their shopping cart, and record past activity at a site. We do not use cookie technology to harvest email addresses or personal information. Additionally, when you view our website by linking from another web page, we may store the name of that web page. All information collected through cookies is for internal use only and is used to compile aggregate information to analyze site, page, service usage, and consumer behavior. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time by recalling your specific information on subsequent visits, enabling you to access such sections from the same computer without the need to log in multiple times. These cookies are used solely for session management, business, and technical statistics and do not contain any personal information. However, they permit us to send you focused online banner advertisements or other such responses.    
  • Weblogs—Weblogs provide information to familiarize us with your interests and to provide and supply you with relevant information to improve your knowledge.
  • Subscriptions/ Surveys - You share your contact information to stay in touch with us, and you share your opinion on how to improve the customer service we provide to you.
  • Web Forms - Contact information from the registration form is used only to send material relating to the services for which it was collected and will not be sold to another party. 
  • Registration - information collected by MNS is used to identify users when accessing secure content for our services.
  • Newsletter Sign-up—We use your email to send you information about articles related to the industry and about our new upcoming services. 
  • Placing an order—You provide your information to request a service from us, and we use it to successfully complete the transaction.


4) Use of Your Personal Information. When you provide us voluntarily with your personal information, you understand that you are giving us your consent to use this information for communication back to individuals who contact us via the site for administering our business activities, providing customer service, and making available other products and services to our current and prospective customers. The MNS may also contact you via surveys to research your opinion of current services or potential new services that we may offer. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about significant changes to our website and special offers we think you will find valuable.


The MNS may occasionally contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your personal information (email, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. We do not provide information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns, and related website information to any interested third parties. Our website may contain links to other websites, and third parties may operate some. We provide the links for your convenience, but we do not review, control, or monitor the privacy practices of websites operated by others. When you use a link to go from this website to another, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. We are not responsible for the performance of websites operated by third parties or for your business dealings with them. Therefore, whenever you leave this website, we recommend that you review each website's privacy practices and make your conclusions regarding the adequacy of these practices. 


MNS may disclose information (personal and non-personal) to the extent permitted by law when legally compelled to do so and when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights or property, to collect debts, fight fraud or when protecting our customers and third parties. Moreover, if a corporate change in control results from, for example, a sale to, or merger with, another entity, the MNS reserves the right to transfer your personal information to the new party in control. 


We may share information with affiliates from time to time, and you may notice offers from outside companies advertised on our website. We take measures to select responsible product or service providers that afford privacy protections to their customers. However, we will retain all ownership rights to your information. In this event, MNS allows all recipients to "opt-out" of receiving such information by emailing us.


6) Security of Your Personal Information. The MNS takes reasonable precautions to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We store the personal information you provide on computer systems with limited access, located in controlled facilities that have:


  • Computer safeguards—Firewalls, antivirus software, anti-spying software, complex and secure passwords, check on the security settings of the browsers and etc.
  • Secured files and physical access controls—Our corporate values, ethical standards, business policies, and practices are committed to protecting customer information. We limit employee access to confidential information and limit the use and disclosure of such information only to authorized persons, processes, and transactions. We keep clients' confidential information locked.
  • An active SSL—When we transmit highly confidential information (such as a credit card number or SSN) over the Internet, we protect it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
  • Evaluation of Information Protection Practices —Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with corporate policies and procedures governing our information's security, confidentiality and quality. 


Nevertheless, MNS does not warrant or represent that its level of security meets or exceeds any particular standard. It would be best if you kept in mind that no Internet transmission is ever 100% secure or error-free. There are alternate ways for users to provide confidential information, such as via staff phone numbers.


7) Do Not Track. MNS supports Do Not Track (DNT) Signals. DNT is a preference you can set in your internet browser to let websites you visit know that you do not want them to collect certain information about you. MNS allows third-party tracking through its website. However, implementing the DNT preference in your browser will prevent any third parties from tracking your information.


8) Privacy Statement Revisions. The MNS will occasionally update this Privacy Statement to reflect company and customer feedback. Suppose there are material changes to this statement or how the MNS will use your personal information.
